Q: Are your products tested on animals?A: Absolutely no animal testing is involved with our product development. To the best of our knowledge none of our raw materials suppliers use any kind of animal testing either.
Q: Do your products contain any fragrances?A: Many of our products are fragrance free, however there are some with fragrance in them. Our fragrance free products are: Hydroshield Face Serum, SPF30 Defense Day Cream, SPF30 Defense Eye Cream, Triple Strength Eye Wrinkle Smoother Cream, Microdermabrasion Cream, and finally our Facial Firming Pads have some pure lavender in them.
Q: Do your products contain any parabens?A: Some of our products do contain parabens, however they contain them in such a small amount that is way below the strictest EU standards and are absolutely safe for human use.
Our paraben free products are the Advanced Facial Firming Pads, the Cellular Firming Serum, the Microdermabrasion Cream and the HydroShield Face and Eye Serums.
Q: Are Dr. Denese's products FDA approved?A: All products in the SPF and hydroquinone category are FDA approved. Other Dr. Denese products do not require FDA approval.
Q: What is the shelf life of the products?A: Approximately 2 years.
Q: How does Dr. Denese conduct product safety testing?A: We do our product safety testing by a Certified Testing Lab so the results are objective.
Q: Are your products opthalmologist or dermatologist tested for safety?A: Yes.
Q: Do your products contain preservatives?A: Yes, this prevents the growth of bacteria.
Q: How can I test for an allergic reaction?A: Behind the ear, apply a small patch of product first.
Q: Do you have a specific product you suggest for sensitive skin?A: The HydroShield is the most soothing of all items.
Q: Can your products be used on all skin color and type?A: Yes.
Q: Do Dr. Denese's products contain alcohol?A: Several of the active ingredients can only be dissolved in alcohol and nothing else. In order to put these ingredients into the products, they have to be dissolved in alcohol. The amount of alcohol used is so minimal that it will have NO IMPACT on your skin.
Q: Why have my products discolored?A: Discoloration of a product may occur if the product is subject to overheating. Please store your products in a cool, dry place. The color does NOT affect the product quality and it is certainly safe to use.
Q: How do I apply my favorite HydroShield Eye/Face Serum in relation to the Triple Strength Wrinkle Smoother Cream series for Face, Eyes, Lips and Neck?A: Please apply HydroShield serum first and follow with the Triple Strength treatment creams.
